NSW Seniors Festival 2022 - Digital workshops

Dear Healthy Lifestyle participant,

This year, NSW Seniors Festival runs from 25 March - 3 April 2022.  The theme of the festival is Reconnect which is pertinent given the challenges we have faced over the past few years.

Northern Sydney Health Promotion have been exploring opportunities to promote digital skills training to older adults across the region to enhance access to healthcare services and connection with family and community. We do hope that by enhancing digital skills and confidence that we can support greater access to our local Active Ageing on-line programs including Healthy and Active for Life Online and our virtual Healthy Lifestyle exercise classes.

As part of NSW Seniors Festival, many local Councils and organisations are running free digital skills workshops and education sessions.  We have compiled, in this newsletter, a list of links to these workshops.  Please contact these organisations directly for further information and registration.

We do encourage you to get out into your local community and take advantage of the wide range of opportunities to connect with others, your interests and passions during NSW Seniors Festival.

Further information on events running across NSW can be accessed online at NSW Seniors Festival.
