NSW Health’s Clinical Innovation and Research Division is seeking input into the NSW Health Research and Innovation Strategy. This strategy will build on and complement Future Health and shape an ambitious forward-looking plan for NSW.

Your input will help to develop a strategic framework and guide the next chapter in health and medical research in NSW. The survey will close on 16 April

Sleep Ninja® App Boosts Adolescent Sleep and Mental Health

A novel evidence-based smartphone sleep app co-designed by teenagers and their parents, together with researchers at Black Dog Institute, is supporting better sleep and mental health in adolescents through improving their sleep quality.

Novel bionic glasses help the blind ‘see’ through sound

A former contestant on The Voice Australia is helping to trial ground-breaking ‘smart’ glasses that use sound to tell the wearer what the glasses ‘see’ via small cameras in the device. They are the brainchild of ARIA, an Australian vision technology innovation company. Their development recently received NSW Health support via the Commercialisation Training Program.

Luminesce Alliance 2024 Conference Sponsorship Prospectus

Submissions for AusBiotech 2024 programme are now open

AusBiotech are now accepting applications for sessions and speakers for this year's event in Victoria from 30 October - 1 November 2024. People are encouraged to submit ideas that explore current trends, critical and emerging topics, breakthroughs, and stories that are thought-provoking and encourage discussion.

Cardiovascular Researchers and Indigenous Health Leaders Celebrated at CVRN Showcase and Ministerial Awards

A powerful Welcome to Country marked the opening of the Cardiovascular Research Network Showcase and Ministerial Awards event, presented by the Heart Foundation, CVRN and NSW Health. The event took place on Gadigal land at the Art Gallery of NSW and this year’s theme was First Nations heart health: Healing and strength for the future.

Applications now open for Cardiovascular Senior and Early-Mid Career Researcher Grants 2024

The 2024 round of Senior and Early-Mid Career Researcher Grants is open for applications. The program funds high quality cardiovascular research in NSW in order to drive scientific discoveries, support the development of novel and innovative therapies, and improve health outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.

Applications close 1 July.

Specialisation courses delve into sector-specific insights over three days, providing vital knowledge, industry connections, and mentor feedback for business development.
