Doing Research, Together
NSW Regional Health Partners have launched Doing Research, Together, an innovative online resource to help researchers, consumers, carers and healthcare workers collaborate on health and medical research projects. This resource provides practical tips and tools for applying co-design principles and co-delivering research projects from start to end.

| Future Snapshot: ARCS 2024 explores future of drugs, data and medical devices
AI, clinical trials, advanced therapeutics and partnering with patients were dominant themes at the ARCS Conference 2024, which showcased the current and future face of healthcare. Representatives from the Office for Health and Medical Research showcased their pioneering work in phage therapy, non-animal technologies, and grant programs. |

| Motor Neurone Disease researchers receive $2 million boost
Motor neurone disease is a neurological disorder that causes rapid degeneration of muscle activity and can impair walking, talking, breathing and general functioning. $2 million has been awarded to three outstanding motor neurone disease reseachers, to support people in NSW affected by the disease and to better understand its causes. |

NSW Premier’s Awards for Outstanding Cancer Research
Nominations are now open for awards to recognise the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams within the cancer research community and those supporting innovation and cutting-edge delivery of care. Anyone involved in improving cancer patient outcomes within NSW is eligible to be nominated. Nominations close at 12pm on 19 August. |
